Our Winter Happenings..

Almost daily -- You will see this happen! The craft bucket is set in the
middle of the table, and the kids HAVE AT IT! With paper, scissors,

glue, paper punch, stickers, foam cutouts, markers, colored pencils, crayons, etc..
Makes for a little quiet time, but ALOT of fun. They really enjoy!

We also enjoy playing Farm, Barbies, Puzzles, Games, etc..

We DID make it outside in the snow.. before the temps dropped!
With a little help from the sandbox toys.. they had fun!

We really enjoy snack time outdoors! (Less mess for me!! :)

           If only nap time could be outside as well.... :)

Christmas Countdown...

 We painted snow flakes to add to our Christmas Tree!

 We also made Santa Hand-prints! (Thanks Jill!)
Need: Green, Red, White construction paper,
eyes (we used a circle punch with black construction paper),
Glue, and White Paint

Kids really liked these!

Our end result! Turned out WONDERFUL! :)

Merry Christmas (continued..)

 We painted candy canes and gingerbread men to hang on the Christmas Tree.

We also painted and 'glittered' ornaments for the Tree!

We made Christmas Trees: waffle cones, frosting, green food coloring,
dixie cups, cinnamon hots, and M&M's!
The kids LOVED them! They were half eaten when they took them home.

 We did handprint Christmas Trees (Thanks Jill Smith!)

 With the Baby's: We used there Footprint :)

Christmas - 2011

Merry Christmas Everyone!

This is what is happening at Caty's Care this month ...
Since we have many little kids this year, I decided not have a Christmas tree upstairs.
With some ideas from another fellow daycare provider (Mindy) we came up with this! :)

Watch daily/weekly as we will continue to add to it..

Christmas Tree
Need: Large white paper, green paint

 

Presents
Need: Present coloring pages, scraps from old wrapping paper, colors

The kids really enjoyed this! (So far it's still hanging up.. waiting for some little fingers to remove it :)

Fall - 2011

Boys, boys and more boys! :) We enjoyed many mornings outside this Fall,
on this one, raked up a big pile of leaves, and jumped til our hearts desire! :)
Easy activity and burned LOTS of energy!

Painted our Halloween pumpkins!
Need: Paint, paint brushes, pumpkins :)
