*Christmas* (Part 2)

Snowmen!
We decorated foam snowmen with some googly eyes, orange paper noses,
and snowflakes.. (Q-tip dots!)

"Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!!"

Ha-ppp-y Holidays!

We also decorated presents to put underneath our Christmas tree!
We also made bead candy-cane ornaments..
or as one of the girls said "corn candy ornaments!" :)

Busy as it..

Boys enjoying it too!

Our tree is coming along.. :)

Yesterday we made flour/salt/water hand-print ornaments!

Need: -2 cups Flour
-1/2 cup Salt
-10 Tblps Water (or lil more)

Kneed for 15 minutes.

It will look like this.. Roll into a ball!

Roll it flat! I used a cool whip container to make perfect circles for the bigger kids hands
and a coffee mug for the smaller hand-prints!

Lay them out on parchment paper.. on top of a cookie sheet!
(I forgot to punch a hole in it with a straw so you can hang it.. so I
drilled holes in it after they were done baking! It worked!)

Bake at 300 degrees for 45 minutes!

Add a lil paint - and WAL-LA!
Didn't they turn out AWESOME?!

We painted big popsicle sticks ornaments .. glued them together ..
and added some string and a picture!

We plan to decorate them with glitter and jewels!

Another gift for our parents (Shhhh!!! Haha!) is a foam picture frame!
Thank you Oriental Trading! :)

"Look it's me!!"

Crafting away!

Our end result! The kids did great!

I also put together bags of M&M's for the kids with the saying (found it on Pinterest):

"As you hold these candies in your hand
and turn them, you will see.
The M becomes a W, an E, and then a 3.
They tell the Christmas Story, it’s one I’m sure you know.
It took place in a stable a long, long time ago.
The E is for the East where the star shone so bright.
The M is for the Manger where baby Jesus slept that night.
The 3 is for the Wiseman bearing gifts when they came.
W is for Worship, Hallelujah, Praise His name.
So, as you eat these candies or share with your friends,
Remember the meaning of Christmas,
It’s a love story that never ends."

Hope you enjoyed!
Mer-rr-ry Christmas Everyone!!!
